Story 4.
Pendoleria Soprana

Welcome to the fourth episode of Italian Vibes, Nexion’s exciting journey to uncover the precious hidden stories of small Italian Botteghe.

“As a child, I was fascinated by the pendulums that moved, marking the passage of time”. With these poetic images, Giovanni Soprana describes the birth of a passion that led him to pass on the tradition of jewelers and watchmakers at Pedoleria Soprana, founded in Vicenza by his great-grandfather Vincenzo in 1910, and now in its fourth generation with Giovanni and his brother Matteo.

A true inspiring story of Italian craftsmanship excellence, which Giovanni hopes to pass on to his children and grandchildren.

Precision and care: this is the essence of what we do.

At Nexion, precision and rigor flow through every gesture. Materials are chosen with care, surfaces studied under light and shadow, textures felt, tested, and refined.

Like in the most exclusive Italian botteghe, each movement, each repetition, carries thought and attention, shaping a quiet rhythm where mind and hands work wisely together. It is in this delicate, constant research of perfection  that our surfaces emerge, alive with depth, presence, and the subtle power of true craftsmanship.

“Hand-set gears demand patience and precision. In a world that clicks faster every day,  the pendulum clock slows the moment, marking time so we can pause”.
